This initiative strengthens the partnership between PRPMA and ISPSC in providing aspiring educators with meaningful opportunities to gain hands-on classroom experience, observe effective teaching practices, and develop their skills as future professionals in education.
PRPMA is honored to welcome and to be part of their journey toward becoming competent, dedicated, and inspiring educators.

The eRecertification is an important process that evaluates the schoolโs compliance with the standards and requirements set by PEAC and reflects PRPMAโs commitment to providing quality education and meaningful learning opportunities to its students.
The successful completion of the process was made possible through the collective efforts and cooperation of the school administration, faculty and staff, students, parents, partner institutions, and community linkages. Their support, participation, and collaboration played a vital role in the preparation and completion of the requirements.
As PRPMA awaits the official results, the school remains hopeful for a favorable outcome that will allow the institution to continue its participation in the ESC Program and sustain its commitment to accessible and quality education.

Sta. Cruz, Ilocos Sur โ Pascual Rivera Pimentel Memorial Academy (PRPMA) proudly celebrates another remarkable milestone as three Senior High School students have been chosen to represent the Municipality of Sta. Cruz in the prestigious Siglat Talino competition, one of the major highlights of the 2026 Siglat Festival of the Province of Ilocos Sur.
Representing the municipality are Charmaine R. Guiral, Mikhayla P. De Paz, and Bernadete G. Atienza, who will compete alongside outstanding youth delegates from different municipalities and component cities across the province.
The selection of the three PRPMA learners reflects their exemplary academic competence, leadership potential, confidence, and commitment to excellence. Their participation likewise signifies the trust and confidence bestowed upon them by the Municipality of Sta. Cruz to showcase the talents and intellectual capabilities of its youth on the provincial stage.
Siglat Talino is one of the banner events of the annual Siglat Festival, recognizing young individuals who demonstrate exceptional knowledge, critical thinking, communication skills, and civic awareness. Pascual Rivera Pimentel Memorial Academy in line with its commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment, the faculty of Pascual Rivera Pimentel Memorial Academy participated in a mental health session facilitated by Ma'am Geraldine Reyes, an instructor from the Psychology Department of Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College (ISPSC)โTagudin Campus.
The session centered on enhancing educators' understanding of mental health and their role in supporting students who may be experiencing psychological or emotional challenges. Ma'am Reyes shared valuable insights on recognizing possible signs and symptoms of mental health concerns among learners and discussed appropriate approaches in responding with empathy, professionalism, and care while ensuring that students receive the necessary support and referrals when appropriate.
Recognizing also that the well-being of educators is equally essential, the discussion also highlighted the importance of safeguarding teachers' mental health. Participants were encouraged to practice self-care, maintain a healthy work-life balance, and seek support whenever necessary, emphasizing that emotionally healthy educators are better equipped to nurture and guide their students.
As part of the session, Ma'am Geraldine Reyes introduced Project Nadungo, an initiative of the ISPSC Tagudin Psychology Department that serves as a community pantry for students in need. The project provides in-kind donations, including essential hygiene items and other basic necessities, to support learners who may be experiencing financial difficulties. During the discussion, the initiative was presented as a meaningful program that could potentially be adopted at PRPMA to help address the needs of students and further strengthen the school's commitment to student welfare and holistic development.

The Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College (ISPSC) formally entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Pascual Rivera Pimentel Memorial Academy (PRPMA) to implement a collaborative extension program focused on psycho-emotional support and mental health promotion.
The partnership brings together ISPSC, through the Bachelor of Arts in Psychology Program, the BALLIGI Center, and the Guidance and Counseling Office of ISPSCโTagudin Campus, and Pascual Rivera Pimentel Memorial Academy to provide psycho-education, counseling, consultation, and other mental health interventions for students, faculty, and staff.
The Memorandum of Agreement was signed by ISPSC Mario P. Obrero and Mr. Arsenio H. Hezeta, Jr., Principal of Pascual Rivera Pimentel Memorial Academy, in the presence of officials from both institutions who served as witnesses to the partnership.
Gracing the ceremonial signing as witnesses for ISPSC were Mr. Dennis T. Millare, Program Leader and Director of the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS); Dr. Rogelio S. Quiroga, Jr., Chief of Student with Learning Needs; Ms. Raveena Galope, College Counselor; and Dr. Geraldine V. Reyes, Adviser of the BALLIGI Center.
Joining them as witnesses for Pascual Rivera Pimentel Memorial Academy were Mr. Diomar Jake Viernes, SBO Adviser, Ms. Saniata D. Dela Cruz, Teacher DesignateโGuidance, and Jakbean M. Ricarde, Discipline Committee Chairman.

Pascual Rivera Pimentel Memorial Academy welcomed officers from the Philippine National Police for a symposium aimed at promoting safety, discipline, and responsible youth behavior when it comes to illegal drugs. The activity brought together students and teachers for an informative discussion on the role of the police in maintaining peace and order within the community.
During the symposium, the PNP officers shared valuable insights on school safety, crime prevention, and the importance of cooperation between the youth and law enforcement. They also reminded students to make wise decisions, follow school rules, and become responsible members of society.
The event also served as an opportunity for students to ask questions and learn more about how they can help build a safer environment in school and in their communities. Through activities like this, PRPMA continues to strengthen its commitment to student awareness, discipline, and community partnership.
